R. In the field an eagle, its wings spread, inside an oak wreath, perched on a fasces which is placed horizontally on an altar. On a banner: Rep. (Republica) romana (Roman Republic). The front of the altar is decorated with the Libery cap between two daggers, the type of the ancient coins of Brutus.
