CXI victorias. italiae. liberatori. evropae pacificatori (To Alexander Buonaparte, after herculean labors one hundred victories gained in one year, to the liberator of Italy, to the peacemaker to Europe). Beneath this inscription, a trophy composed of fasces, standards, of two crossed swords, and of two laurel wreaths, with a helmet in the middle. Exergue: d. XVIII. oct. MDCCXCVII (eighteenth October 1797).
