All' italico. (to the Italian).--Bust of General Bonaparte, in uniform, to the left. On the edge of the bust: H.Vassallo f. (fecit).
R. L'Insubria libera (Lombardy freed). The French Republique, a helmet on her head, having, on her right, Peace, who holds an olive branch, places the Phrygian bonnet on the head of Lombardy, whom a genius leads by the hand. At the feet of this figure, a horn of plenty from which escape fruits and grains. Exergue: IX luglio MDCCLXXXXVII (9 July 1797). Below the exergue: J.S.f. (Joseph Salwirck fecit).
